Why Join the Youth Parish Council?
We are excited to announce the formation of a Youth Parish Council designed specifically for children aged 11-17. This council will provide a platform for young people to voice their opinions, share their ideas, and actively participate in decision-making processes that affect our village. By joining, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of your community, ensuring it meets the needs and interests of young residents.
What Can You Achieve?
As a member of the Youth Parish Council, you will be involved in a variety of projects and initiatives. From planning events and activities to improving facilities and services, your input will be invaluable. You will work alongside other council members to identify areas of improvement and propose solutions that will benefit everyone in the village. This is a chance to make a real impact and see tangible results from your efforts.
How to Get Involved
Getting involved is simple! If you are between the ages of 11 and 17 and are interested in contributing to your community, we encourage you to apply. You can contact Lee at the Baptist Church. Once selected, you will attend regular meetings on the 4th Friday of the month at 7pm where you can discuss your ideas and collaborate with fellow council members. This is not only a great way to make a difference but also an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills and gain valuable experience.
